In 1990, Charles Ekstam began research that led to the development of the Fuel Preporator®. On March 15, 1993, the first commercial Fuel Preporator® unit was sold to Mr. Dave Hayden of Herrod, Ohio. Dave was an Owner/Operator with National Carriers.
Over the course of the last eighteen years, the Fuel Preporator® as well as the company, has gone through several iterations. Fuel Preporator® models have been developed for virtually every diesel engine application, including commercial trucking, military, marine, pick-up trucks; even tugboat and locomotive engines up to 14,200 cubic inches.
