Loading... Please wait...In 1990, Charles Ekstam began research that led to the development of the Fuel Preporator®. On March 15, 1993, the first commercial Fuel Preporator® unit was sold to Mr. Dave Hayden of Herrod, Ohio. Dave was an Owner/Operator with National Carriers.
Over the course of the last eighteen years, the Fuel Preporator® as well as the company, has gone through several iterations. Fuel Preporator® models have been developed for virtually every diesel engine application, including commercial trucking, military, marine, pick-up trucks; even tugboat and locomotive engines up to 14,200 cubic inches.
Fast-forward to present day, and PureFlow Technologies, the exclusive licensee of the Fuel Preporator®, having recently moved their production of all products to Shelbyville, Indiana. The production facility along with order fulfillment has become PureFlow AirDog
in conjunction with PureFlow’s research and development of new products for the diesel marketplace. PureFlow AirDog is in a 70,000 square foot ISO production environment where the AirDog line is now produced.
